Make queer-feminist research more visible.
We invite early-career researchers and recent graduates whose work engages with gender and queer-feminist perspectives to showcase their completed master’s or PhD theses. If you completed your thesis at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning (TU Wien), you are welcome to submit it to CLAIMING*SPACES.
Who can submit?
→ A thesis completed at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, TU Wien
→ Clear relevance to gender and/or queer-feminist perspectives
→ Submissions in German or English
How to submit?
Send an email to claiming.spaces@kunst.tuwien.ac.at including:
→ Email subject line: “fem*share submission”
→ TU Wien Repositum link to your thesis
→ Short abstract (this may differ from the version in the TU Wien Repositum)
→ One photograph, chart, or drawing that represents your thesis (you must hold the image rights and be able to release the image under a Creative Commons license)
→ Optional: include 3–5 keywords
Review and visibility
All submissions will be reviewed for relevance to queer-feminist topics. Eligible theses will be listed on the claiming*spaces website with the title, one image, abstract, and TU Wien Repositum link. We will also feature your work on Instagram in a claiming*spaces post.
